We all know and fear those particular situations, when conflict occurs and things are getting out of hand. The effect of pick up lines is the most overestimated and misinterpreted thing in the history of seduction and dating.

Unfortunately people really believe that they can overcome their shyness and inexperiences with women with one single magical line. They only have to deliver it somehow and the door to paradise opens for them. Is this funny or tragic?

In order to find this holy line, people take desperate measures. They try corny pick up lines, funny pick up lines, sweet pick up lines, baseless compliments and sexual innuendo, anything you can imagine. A long distance relationship is a very challenging thing. Many have tried, and many have failed. On the other hand, I personally know a lot of couples who emerged victorious out of the battle, moved and stayed together.

I receive many emails regarding surviving a long distance relationship and what the rules are. And how to support a relationship when you’re thousands of miles apart?

I would like to share with you a little romantic love poem I discovered some years ago. I sort of like it, because in my opinion it differs a little from other love poems. You literally feel the electrifying intensity. It moves you to depths you never knew about.

Of course, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder they say, but this love poem conveys a certain truth we all know or hope it exists, and we all long for having it in our lives. It gives us a short glance how life should be: sweet and passionate.

Let me tell you a little story.

There was this guy. Let’s call him Simon. Simon is a quite handsome guy. A lot of women were interested in him and wanted to meet him. He sure was enthusiastic about that, the only problem was: he didn’t know what to do when he was on a date.

So, if his date wasn’t a nymphomaniac man-eater, he didn’t score. He used to tell me: “She was ok, but there was this psychopathic laugh that turned me off”.
